15th Annual Spring Gala Supports Mission of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare

Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare Spring Gala Postponed

The priority of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare is the health and wellness of the patients, families and community members we serve. In light of Gov. Mike DeWine’s announcement that the state of Ohio is prohibiting mass gatherings of 100 or more people and the evolving COVID-19 outbreak, the Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare Spring Gala has been postponed. The gala, originally scheduled for March 28, will be held at a later date, which will be announced in the next few weeks. All tickets and sponsorship benefits will be honored at the rescheduled event.

Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare is hosting its 15th Annual Spring Gala: Tailgating for Team Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare on Saturday, March 28, at 5:30 pm, at the Shisler Conference Center (1625 Wilson Rd., Wooster, OH 44691). The Spring Gala helps to ensure continued access to care and services for patients and families in the community facing life-limiting illnesses, regardless of their ability to pay.

As part of the theme of this year’s gala, guests may come dressed in their favorite sports team gear or work team attire. The evening will include a live and silent auction, dinner by Buehler’s and the opportunity to learn more about the services Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare provides. Honorary co-chairs are Greg and Kathy Long.

“Since 1982, Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare has supported superior end-of-life care and superior services for patients and their families throughout Wayne, Holmes, Ashland and Medina counties,” said Kurt Holmes, executive director of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare. “Whether patients receive services in their home, a care facility, or the Stanley C. and Flo K. Gault Inpatient Pavilion, Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare’s not-for-profit, integrated team approach ensures superior personal care for each patient and family. Our mission is to celebrate the lives of those we have the privilege of serving by providing superior care and superior services to each patient and family.”
