Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare Offers Grief Workshop: Bearing the Grief of Suicide
Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare is hosting a grief workshop, “Bearing the Grief of Suicide,” on Monday, March 2, 5 to 6:30 pm, at its Wooster office (1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691).
“When a loved one dies unexpectedly, the suddenness of the death can weigh heavily on family and friends,” said David Hargrave, LSW, CTP, bereavement counseling professional with Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare. “To add to the pain, those in the community sometimes feel unable to provide adequate support to those who are grieving. They may struggle to know what to say or do. They may feel awkward or stay away, leaving the bereaved feeling angry and isolated.”
Registration is required. To register, call Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare at 330.264.4899.
